About
My name is Rasmus Trøst Simonsen, and I am a 29-year-old designer with a strong passion for sustainability, fashion, circularity and digital tools. My expertise is centered around creating sustainable solutions that seamlessly blend aesthetics with practicality and durability. With a Bachelor’s degree in Clothing Design and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Design, I’ve developed a solid foundation in circular production, material upcycling, and user-focused design. Throughout my career, I’ve successfully led design projects from initial concept to final product, whether working within small, dedicated teams or on larger, more complex initiatives. My skills cover a broad range, including creative development, production, and the implementation of cutting-edge technology in the design process. I’ve been involved in crafting sustainable collections for renowned brands like ISNURH and (Di)vision and establishing design guidelines for textile procurement in the public sector through the CircleHealth project. My approach is driven by a desire to create designs that not only look good but also contribute to greener and more responsible future.
